2010년 3월 6일 토요일,
Finally, I feel refreshed. Man, I always feel knocked out when I reached home so I'll always forget to blog. However, I think that I still have to tell some things that I want to share from LAST SUNDAY and not to forget them.
Here are some of the contents that I'm going to tell:
1) "exploration" for music equipment -- Sunday
2) Review on SUMMER WARS -- Monday
3) My aims (which are impossible to some extent...)
Okay, let's start. Last Sunday, after an early morning worship in church, I head straight to Band World first (because it was closed on Saturday...). So once again, I had to go into the warehouse. Because it was weekend, 98% of the offices were closed, so it was even more "scarier" to go from the entrance all the way to the opposite end. Finally, Band World was open, and there was a group of clarinetists there too. I bought 1 MADE IN KOREA clarinet reed case and 2 boxes of cigarette paper. No, I don't smoke, they're just cleaning papers. Then, I went to Bras Basah (AGAIN??!) to buy guitar picks and 7A drumsticks. All were bought successfully and I went to mug again. (Aww, hell...)
Now, my movie review on Summer Wars.
I'll give this movie 4/5. For those who doesn't understand or even hate Japanese culture and/or the Internet mechanism, you'll most likely to give this movie 0-2/5. But that's your opinion, not mine.
Seriously, I was very impressed with the producer's imagination. The story plot was well created, combining Japanese traditional culture and the modern culture together. The difference in the graphics of the real world and the computer world was well distinguished too.
Each character in the movie has their unique personailty and they tried their best to design as many avatars as possible. It was worth their effort.
The sad thing is that it was a little exagerrating. It was a little unrealistic to fire a nuclear missile to a residence by an A.I. itself, and how can you bet
accounts when playing online casino games? If the story plot could be a little more realistic, I could have given this movie 4.5 .
Actually, I wanted to tell you my aims for a period of 5 to 6 years. I don't know why I want to do this... (are you nuts?)
Never mind, these are my aims:
1. To get at least Grade 5 for clarinet, percussion, flute, saxophone and theory.
2. To be able to play EWI (or even get to buy it), electric guitar, bass guitar and piano
3. To master drum set skills, especially Moeller Method
4. To master all chords for acoustic guitar
5. To be able to play Jazz/Jazz Fusion (saxophone, clarinet, drum and more)
6. To master the theory for orchestra/band conducting
7. To gain 25kg of muscle (3% body fat)
8. To master English, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, French, Italian and Spanish
9. To master all computer languages
10. To master software programming
11. To be able to play as many sports as possible (mainly bowling, archery and skiing)
12. To be an influential leader
You can see that some of these aims are somehow extremely tough and difficult to get. I should not say impossible as it can be attainable. I'm sure there are more but these are the important ones. I just want to make my family proud, that's all, after all teachings and guidance from my parents. Whenever I think back of my past, I will always feel like crying because I just feel so guilty being in this situation now. Alright, no more emo talks, as I have more obstacles to overcome (homework, physical condition, love etc.) .
Lastly, I just want to say that you can get what you want if you
truly want it to be true. がんばって, everyone!!!
